Tonight, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC)’s hit show “Dragons Den” made its season 8 première on the network. A mere hours before the Eastern time-zone première, Flicka got to meet four of the five Dragons!
The Dragons Flicka meet were:
1. David Chilton

He’s also had incredible success as publisher and president of a series of low-fat cookbooks under the Looneyspoons brand. Unfortunately, Flicka was not able to meet Ms. Arlene Dickinson.
A very special thank you to Mr. Chilton for agreeing earlier in the day to meet Flicka this evening. I learned that where there’s one Dragon, there’s usually more around the corner. Thank you, also, to Mr. Croxon, Mr. O’Leary, and Mr. Treliving for humouring me and letting Flicka have her photo taken with you as well. We appreciated the opportunity to meet all of you.
In case you’re wondering, all four gentlemen were genuinely interested in Flicka and the work National Service Dogs does. I told them about NSD’s Certified Service Dogs for Autism program as well as its Skilled Companion Dogs program, and they were impressed. Mr. O’Leary was especially struck at how well behaved Flicka was while he and she interacted with each other and he seemed to take a liking to her!
Flicka tuned in to the Dragons Den tonight, and enjoyed the show!
Well done, gentlemen!
