Earlier tonight, before the start of Alan Doyle‘s sold out “Star Talk” at the Toronto Public Library’s Bram & Bluma Appel Salon located at the Toronto Reference Library, NSD Flicka was invited to join Mr. Doyle in his ‘green room’ and have her photo taken with him.
Today, Flicka went back to the Toronto Zoo. She was last there last October.
National Service Dogs has published the October 2014 edition of their newsletter, called “The NSD Scoop”.
On Friday afternoon, after speaking with Flicka’s puppy raiser earlier in the day, I decided to alert various media outlets about what took place at The UPS Store #336 the day earlier.
At approximately 1417 hrs on Thursday, September 25, 2014, I walked into The UPS Store #336. This is a preview of this post. Click here to read this full post.
On Tuesday afternoon, in the middle of the Toronto Blue Jays‘ batting practice, I found myself sitting on the bench inside the Blue Jays’ dugout, with NSD Flicka, engrossed in an approx. 25 conversation with R.A. Dickey, one of the Blue Jays’ star pitchers (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R.A._Dickey).
Yesterday, before going to the Rogers Centre to meet R.A. Dickey, I received a letter in the mail from the Prime Minister of Canada.
